Happy Bday Celtic. Better be careful even insinuating that 22 is old though, there are a few around here that may take offense to that. Not that I am saying anybody here is old or anything. :-^

And Happy B Day to me on this 25th day of April. To be 22 again I would have to do about 35 years of travel time. Ouch!

Congratulations on you journey this far; now, are you going to enlighten us as to how you're going to make your mark in history and how you intend to make the world a better place? When I was on active duty, I had a mentor that made me write down five short range goals and five long range goals when I turned thirty more than a few years ago; he told me to do it every five years and it would really surprise me when I got to be his age...now I'm older...contemplating another update, but first I've gotta go fishing...get some new cigars and a couple of cases of beer and get the boat out  It arrives much sooner than you expect

5) Settle for a cold beer

A few years ago, I told my other half when she hit 40 I was trading her in on two twenties...couldn't keep up my end of the bargain, so we're fading into the sunset together  Since when is there such a thing as A beer? A 6-pack, 12-pack, 18-pack, case or now for older MSU grads, the handy, convenient 30-pack. Our bottlers keep improving on already attractive packages and I for one can't wait for the unveiling of the 36-pack

happy birthday

Post by briannell » Mon Apr 25, 2005 1:04 pm

well, if 22 is old to you NEVER ask a woman her age. Besides we're like fine wines and age well. Anyway, happy birthday to you!

As for the 30 year blond, trust me when I say brunettes are much better at any age :D

at 31, even with 2 kids, my husband hates when I get attention from the 20 something crowd. Guess it helps I look 18 still.

It's more of the quarter-life crisis bit, I don't know if any of you felt that way. When I sit back and think "holy crap, where the hell did high school go." Or the fact that I "should" be graduating college in a few months (I think I'm on about the 6 or 7 year plan), just makes me feel like my teenage years blew by me.

now you make me feel old ! High school grad '92, MSU '97 can't remember 22, but I'm sure I had fun. I loved Bozeman. Is Rob still head trainer? He hang out to the Crystal with us, now married with kids and old like us! Any former FB players working in Athletics these days? May be Chad Mayer, JC Murray or George Booker?

Rebecca Nell

as for still looking 18, that's just great genetics, because chasing 2 kids makes me feel 80!

None of those guys work at MSU anymore with the exception of Rob. He is now the head trainer (he took over that position in 2002). I don't know where any of those other guys are now. Mayer & Booker left once Kramer came in. Booker was at Idaho for a couple of years, but now I have no idea where he is. About the only guy that is still up there other then Rob would be Josh Winago. He is now the head of the Booster Club (not sure what his title is exactly).

thanks for the info. Rob would be a good replacement for Chuck Karnop. Did you play FB at MSU? Curious how'd you know George or Chad. Curious if Chad and Skippy have kids yet, planning on visiting the Bo Zone soon with mine, be good to have kids for them to play with. Know JC has a girl  , he's going to get a crash course in understanding females real quick. Good for him to have.

Any Cats in Great Falls area? We'll be headed there also.

I know those guys from football. I played there from 98-02. I still have contacts at the field house, but as time passes I start to loose them. Before too long I won't know anyone up there.

Okay. Just Curious, because I knew them well. Some of them too well! had fun at MSU, and it never hurts to have friends twice your size. Booker was still there when we left, actually paired me with my husband, good match maker. I know Chad was working as an Asst. in 1998 when I was pregnant the first time around and helped me get Chuck Talbot to make a replica of my husbands game jersey, because we were having a boy and I wanted to do that for him. The damn thing was mounted, framed and hung over our sons crib months before he was even born. Now It hangs in his room. Guess our boy is going to be a bobcat like dad.

Chad is a great guy. George is a kick in the pants.
