Bozeman Restaurant Help

I haven't spent any significant time in Bozeman for 15 years. I'm sure a lot has changed. Can my fellow BNers recommend a couple good restaurants for dinner that won't break the bank?

My personal favorites off the top of my head (these are all sit down places):

Ale Works (a little pricier, but not terrible in my opinion)
MacKenzie River Pizza
Santa Fe Reds
The Garage

Bar Food:
Spectators
Cats Paw
Korner Klub

great list and i agree with all of them. except i think reds is really going in the crapper the last couple years. seems their owner like to spend more time getting hammered and acting like a tool around town than he does making sure his business stays afloat.

That's unfortunate (I don't even know who the owner is to be honest). I still like their food, but I don't go there as much as I used to. No real reason, just enough other good places to eat around town.

Starky's was a good call RK. I think I'll actually hit them up for lunch today.

A place that I like and it often get's overlooked because it's in the mall is The Bay. Best French Onion soup in town, excellent Fish and Chips, really just a lot of good food on the menu and a good selection of beers.

I try to stop at Burger Bob's whenever I'm in town. Love the Cowboy Burger.

18 Miles from the Border (Main and Grand) is by far the best Mexican food I've ever had in Montana. It's not real fancy, but oh momma is it tasty.

:yuck:

It's pretty good, but I prefer Fiesta Mexicana by Mixers.

Also if you are going to have pizza, my favorite is Columbo's.

Oh and my favorite breakfast of all time is the Bison, Bacon & Biscuits from the Main Street Overeasy. It works out perfectly considering our opponent. :D

Good recommendations, folks! Thanks.

Went to Starky's on Friday and The Bay on Saturday. The food at Starky's was amazing--some interesting flavors I've never encountered before. Hats off to the chef. The Shrimp Wontons at The Bay were delightful--highly recommended. Can't wait to get back to Bozeman and try the other places recommended.
