Sam Houston Watch Party in Vegas

Just got word that our regular hangout, Buffalo Wild Wings, will not host us tomorrow night because of a UFC event. So, we are going into enemy territory and will watch at Torrey Pines Pub, 6374 W Lake Mead Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89108. It’s a great bar, if you can tolerate dark pink decor.

Torrey Pines Pub is a great place to watch a game! Cold beer, great bar food, and good people. Has Moose Drool on tap (not a fan) and one time had pork chop sandwiches on the menu, just like Pork Chop Johns. Even though it is a gris bar, owner Bob Bonner has always been welcoming to Bobcat fans. When it was the lone Vegas site for The Brawl, he played both schools’ fight songs after each scored. It was about the
State of Montana that day, not the University of. It’s also an unofficial place for NDSU fans to hang out.
When I win the lottery I am going to open a Bobcat bar here in Vegas modeled on Torrey Pines Pub. When that happens, I’ll have to consider whether I’ll play the um fight song, though.
