Trying to break into Pharmaceutical Sales

For the last year I've been trying to NETWORK my brains out with getting a chance for a Pharm interview. Only interviewed with Pfizer (didnt like me and that was over a year ago), Sanofi dropped its Billings opening, and I have had no luck since. So I thought I would see if any of my fellow Cats might have connections with the right people. Kind of looking for something in the Montana (Ohhh man...Missoula if I have too) Oregon, Washington. Thanks everyone for help.

P.S. just found out my wife is pregnant with kitten #2

I might be able to help out with Merck if you are interested in Boise. Feel free to PM me.

I can possibly talk to a friend who's a Merck representative in Seattle/Tacoma. I also know a Astra-Zeneca rep who, last time I talked to him, was running the Montana-Wyoming region.

Thanks you two for a prompt reply! Yea, I would very much like to send those reps a copy of my resume to look over. I'm not sure if any of them could swing an interview with the DM (depends on openings), but even if they could pass it on to someone else...hey who knows. I appreciate the networking help. I've had a 3 other reps tell me that my resume is A-#1, still, no bites.

Patience grasshopper.

My little Brother is in Pharm sales in the Seattle area. He called me less than 2 hours ago, complaining about his territory is so small (he used to work out of Montana) and his drug is so specialised, that he can make his rounds in less than 2 days a week, that if he wanted to he could sit around the house 2-3 days a week if he wanted to. He just does not have to work as hard as he did in Montana and Spokane. They won't let him take Doctors golfing anymore.......WHA...... WHA....... WHA..... I know how much he makes.

My heart pumps purple peanut butter for the poor sole.

Pharm sales What a racket.
