Anyone using the Firefox web browser?

Hey, I have heard some very good things about Firefox's new web browser. I am an old standard Netscape 7.1. Any opinion? Thanks in advance!

I like it a lot. It with Spyware and I never get pop ups.

Downloaded it tonight and giving it a test run. There are definately good things about it, very similar to IE so if it is more secure than I am happy to try it out. The fact that it was open source for so long makes me worried that it is less secure than IE, but what do I know.

:soapbox: The very fact that it always was and still is open source makes it MORE secure than IE. Security by obscurity does not work, as Microsoft has repeatedly proven. :/soapbox:

I have used Mozilla since it was stable enough to be regularly used and now use Firefox almost exclusively. By the way, msla there is a spell checker extension that can be downloaded for firefox and used on any page...just in case you need it. :wink:

Theres a bunch of great plugins for it. My fave is one called "Bug Me Not" that allows you to use fake logins that have been created for sites that require registration for use... 8)

You can change it to make any webserver think your a different browser that your actually using, too. My favorite trick is to make sites think my browser is Netscape 2.0. Googlebot is fun, too. :)
