I'm headed for Vegas for 5 days all expenses paid (except food) tomorrow morning. I probalby should have posted this earlier for more responses, but:

What are some good buffets? Or just places to eat in general? (I don't look to spend a lot of money eating, 20 bucks MAX for a plate, 30 for a buffet)

What are your favorite casinos? I'm not much of a gamler so I'll probably just hang around blackjack tables.

Anything else you recommend? I "believe" Jimmy Buffet is putting on a free show for us Kappa Sigs (he is a Kappa Sig after all), but other than that (and the fraternity meetings) I don't have anything planned.

Well the best buffet in Vegas is hands down at the Rio. Nothing even close and I've ate at a ton of em. On the strip the best one is at bally's. The rio will run you about 24 bucks, less at bally's. Casino wise head to Paris if you are gonna gamble machines. I seem to have pretty good luck there. If you are looking for table games and want to keep the risk low, head to the boardwalk, where thay have lots of low minimum table games.

If You want to see great Live Music in an awesome environment... go to Nine Fine Irishmen in New York New York. It is hands own the best Irish Pub in vegas, although the drinks are a bit expensive. There house band plays every night but tuesday and they are amazing. Weekends are usually hopping there, so you might have to pay a cover then (10 bucks)... If I want on Vacation I could get ya in... sorry. :) Its worth it though even igf you have to pay it. If you ant a more laid back pub head to the crown and anchor at tropicana and swenson. Any self respecting cab driver can get you there quick as its about a mile or so off the strip.

Hope this helps you out. My roommate is going out as he is a Kappa Sig so if you see a short bald guy about 24 named Darin, drink up for me.
