In this particular case, I tend to agree. I really dislike TO, almost more than Moss!El_Gato wrote:I'm watching TO & Drew at halftime and all I keep thinking as Drew continues to say "it's not fair; it's not fair":
For crying out loud, TO was a great player BEFORE he went to Philly, so it's not like he just BECAME a great receiver after just 1 season there. That being said, if the deal offered to him ONE YEAR AGO was so bad and so unfair, WHY DID HE SIGN THE FRICKIN' CONTRACT??????
T.O. walks out on Eagles

A slight development in the T.O. saga:
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2134879The Philadelphia Eagles have sent wide receiver Terrell Owens a letter outlining what they perceive is a series of behavioral problems over the last two weeks, a league source told ESPN's Sal Paolantonio.
Owens acknowledged in a conversation on Monday with ESPN's Michael Irvin that he had received the letter.
The letter was sent over the weekend and arrived at Owens' home in Atlanta on Monday, two days before he is scheduled to meet with head coach Andy Reid at the Eagles' practice facility.
A source characterized the letter as the beginning of a process to suspend Owens from the team if Owens' behavior does not change after that meeting takes place. Owens is expected, according to the Eagles, to rejoin the team on Wednesday, but Reid has said he would only allow Owens back on the field if he sees a marked change in his behavior and attitude.

Would expect TO to come back to camp, be a nice guy and say everyone missunderstood him. I think both TO and his agent know now is not the time to push it.
Be a stud for about 7 weeks, but then it will not be long before he goes back to his standard approach and totally screws up and get suspended from the team. The Eagles will ask him to leave for the year (like TB did to Keyshawn) and it will go to court.
What team would then pick him up?
Probably only Oakland, then they could have Moss on one side and TO on the other (both bitching because they were not getting the ball enough) and couldn't afford anyone else because they have reached the cap.

Philly should use the Al Davis solution.
Keep payin' T.O. and make him ride the pines.
He won't help ya, and he can't hurt ya.
3-4 years later and TO becomes a washed up - has been, who because of his attitude, squandered his opportunities to increase his market value and make a HOF mark on the NFL.
Only to bad Davis used it on Marcus Allen....a class act if ever there was one.
