When it comes to things that affect Montana, the three congressmen from Montana work together as much or more than they work with fellow party members. They're trying to get things for Montana first. So when one goes behind the others backs, it doesn't sit well. Esp. when he does something like swing a deal for a parking garage in downtown Bozeman with FTA funds.
It's a pain in the ass for Baucus and Burns, because they have to keep answering that question. Therefore they are pissed at Rehberg.

I can see how the staffers of Burns might be mad but I don't think the average R supporter knows much about it.

I'd be interested to here the MDT workers take on it.
