question for those of you good with digital cameras. I'd like to shrink a pic to use as my avatar, but can't figure it out. Does anyone know how to shrink the original picture I store on the computer, so I can use it?
yup, I'm NOT PC compatible

I'd like to help, but alas, I know nothing of shrinkage.

My avatar does not now, nor has in the past, depict a person of mentally challenged state. If you have a problem with it, please call the U.S. department of Bite my A$$. MTBuff/Administrator.

Ok, Ok.
Open up the picture using microsoft paint, then select all, -> Image -> stretch/skew....then pick the percentages you want (i.e. 50%,50%) would cut it in half.

My personal favorite is the
http://www.mihov.com/eng/ir.html . It lets you resize to whatever you want, and change between JPG and GIF, etc. I think its user friendly, but I'm also a nerd.

1. When I selected my avatar I did not resize it. The picture automatically just fit itself into the available space so try that.
2. If that does not work go with whastever Meat says. Anyone who can make his mom look like that is good with a computer.
