This article is funny ... the angry group claims that NBC has received 400,000 emails complaining about the show (that nobody has seen yet)....
NBC has not commented on how many emails they've received, and haven't disclosed this information.
Isn't this suggesting that the angry group is openly admitting to manufacturing 400,000 angry emails (aren't computer scripts amazing)? And are we really to believe that they have 400,000 members who just happen to be so fanatical that each and every one is willing to sit down and write a heart felt letter about a show that they've never seen? It seems unlikely.
This seems to be a very common tactic these days, not only from fanatical pro-censorship groups like this one, but also from environmental groups, etc. They bombard someone with lots of emails or form letters, all coming from a relatively small group of people, and then issue press releases bragging about how many emails or letters have been sent that support their position. The sad thing is, sometimes this tactic works.
