Any bobcat sponsored Superbowl parties planned? I'm amazed how many alumni I'm running into here in WA. The Seattle area is loaded with them.

You know, that would be just my luck. I wait my whole life for my Seahawks to make the Super Bowl only to watch them lose a heart breaker to the dreaded, hated, dispised, loathed, etc Broncos. AND Elway comes out of retirement to complete my nightmare.

The devil made me do it the first time... the second time I done it on my own.

Gawd I hope not! Not only would it suck for them to make it to the Superbowl and lose, but to the Donkies? A real slap in the face. And I've already felt that slap back in 98!

I don't remember who they played in '99. But I whole heartedly expeted the Pack to repeat against them in '98.

Ahhhh, yes I remember the Falcons beating the Vikings!! What a sweet win that was. Sitting with all the new Vikings fan friends we'd made in Iowa! Poor Gary Anderson 8)

I just want it noted that the first year the Seahawks go to the Super Bowl is also the first time they have Spirit of the West play at half time early in the season. I would like to think we had a hand in their skills this season and will certainly be cheering them on. However, I can't help but be a little sad it isn't a Seahawks vs. Broncos game.

Am I the only person here who can't stand the Sea Chickens & therefore will be rooting for the Steelers?

I'm thinking it will be a Seahawks/Steelers Superbowl, and man to I want the Seahawks to win it! I was raised in family of Seahawks and Packers fans, and I love both. And they're both kind of like being Bobcat fans, the good seasons are so much sweeter!!!!
The Cats of late and the Packers of late (excluding this season) have alot in common. They both have high pre-season expectations, lose a couple games they shouldn't, win a couple they shouldn't and in the end don't quite live up to expectations (no playoffs, or one and done situations). Both QBs are stand up guys, and tremendous athletes. Lulay is gone, but hopefully Favre will be back for one more year (he is just too much fun to watch).

I usually root for the NFC, but this year I would like to the Steelers win. I think they are a better team overall, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Seattle put up a great fight.

Should be a good game, even though my Broncos laid an egg last weekend (or rather, Jake did), but the other cleat was bound to drop sometime.... I was looking forward to seeing the renewed rivalry between two old AFC foes. Oh well.

FWIW, I liked all four teams in the championship games. Carolina would have had a much better outing against the Seahawks if they would have had any kind of running game....

Seahawks are a regional team I usually root for, plus I like Holmgren and Alexander...

I have always liked Bill Cowher, Hines Ward, and Jerome Bettis, and Ben Rothisberger and Troy Polamalu are two up and coming STUDS. Polamalu might be my favorite NFL player, just because of his determination, drive, and desire. Plus, he kinda reminds me of Kane Ioane. :) Plus you have got to love a guy with the name of Kimo von Oelhoffen!

So, I will be rooting for the Steelers. It works, because I usually always root for AFC teams over NFC teams in the 'bowl.

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.
