So my brother (Kyle) was walking down the sidewalk in Seattle wearing his Nick Marudas jersey, and Dave Matthews came up and asked him for an autograph. Apparently Dave thought that Kyle actually was Nick Marudas. Who knew one of the biggest musicians out there is such a diehard bobcat fan?

Did Dave say hey Nick or how did this all go down. I would be happier to hear that he was a Griz fan as I can't stand his music, but that is cool anyway.
Anyone know what the connection is?
EDIT: I did a quick internet search on one of Dave's current videos was shot in Livingston. I doubt that is the only connection, but its something.

I think one of the drunkest time I ever had (really tough to rank though) was when Matthews played the Paw about two weeks before their first hit was on radio
