State 'A' tourney in Bozeman

Post by go_catz! » Mon Feb 27, 2006 11:16 am

I haven't followed high school basketball much this winter but was thinking about checking out the tournament this weekend. Would it be worth the time? Anyone in particular that would be good to see?

Any info on players/teams would be appreciated.

Thanks

I would really like to make it down to Bozeman for this.

Check out Glendive and their 6-10 Junior Guard/forward Derek Selvig. Coming into the season he was hyped as a true Pac-10 or higher player. At 6-10 he is a very good 3 pointer shooter, ball handler, and passer. I have been rather disappointed in his stats this year, but College coaches love him. If he goes Big Sky level odds are 98.125 % he will be a Griz. Utah State has a good chance of landing him also.

If Billings Central made the tourney they really could be interesting to watch. They go 6-10, 6-7, and 6-6 across the front line.

If I don't make it down , someone give us a report.

Sorry, no BC this year. I think it is just Glendive and Sidney from the East.
