cell phone users - HEADS UP!!!

Post by briannell » Tue Jun 20, 2006 2:56 pm

ARMY issued regarding cell phones

JUST A REMINDER....8 days from today, all cell phone numbers are being
released to telemarketing companies
and you will start to receive sale calls.
YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THESE CALLS....
To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone: 888-382-1222.
It is the National DO NOT CALL list.
It will only take a minute of your time.
It blocks your number for five (5) years.
HELP OTHERS BY PASSING THIS ON TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS.

or at www.donotcall.gov

Mrs. Nell

The Army really emailed this to you? I ask because variations of this have been a scam for a few years in various forms.

ps - thanks for the comments on myspace.

So our federal government takes it's cues from hoax chain emails ... no big deal.

That being said ... I just hope nobody starts a hoax chain email about WMD in my house. Not cool.

Actually I have hear that the hills in San Francisco are full of bunkers hiding WMD. Someone should inform the president. You never know what those crazy California folks are capable of.

Sadly, all we have to do is wait a couple days, and your post will probably end up in blogs around the country (and in the mouths of talking heads on Fox News) proclaiming it as fact.

And then we will get bombed (in the bad way), and then a lot of hot chicks will be dead ... and then how will you feel? Huh? Huh!!!!!! It was funny at the time, sure, but at what cost? As Charlton Heston falls to his knees and screams "You maniacs! You blew it up! Ah, damn you! God... damn you all to hell!" right before cuddling up with a pistol for his afternoon nap, we will then see the damage your abuse of internet power has caused. And admirers of hot single chicks (as there aren't enough single guys in this town to take care of them all) will weep bloody tears.

Or something like that....

With a heavy heart, I am hear to announce that rumors of large numbers of hot chicks who enjoy girl on girl action on an exclusive basis have been greatly exaggerated. We must blame porn and sit-coms for this confusion. As much as the male mind wishes for these sorts of scenarios, they simply don't happen all that often outside of the presence of videocameras and bright lights.
