Did anyone else watch the CWS Championship game? What a wild game!

It was a mighty fine game. Congratulations to both, but especially the Oregon State Beavers. I was thinking to myself afterwards that no one would have ever thought that a team from the Northwest could win, and then ESPN's commentator said that, so I cracked up a bit. On a local note, the last out was caught by OSU's center fielder Tyler Graham of Great Falls.

GO CATS!

I watched it at the Pourhouse, and a kid sitting next to me made that same observation. 8)

The best part 24 of 27 players Oregon natives with the remainder being 2 from Washington and Tyler Graham from Great Falls.

Neat story on Pat Casey and his son as well.

That was an awesome game. I kinda felt bad fot the NC second baseman though. You know he had a long ride home.

That was a great game. Oregon St. was 6-0 in elimination games this CWS. Also the game was pretty easy to watch with Erin Andrews doing the dugout interviews.

Great game for the CWS! Congrats to Orgaon State... tremendous heart and grit! One note... the 2nd baseman for NC is taking 90% of the heat for the error... but the first baseman was not in position to catch the ball and should have been. It should have been a relatively easy catch if in position. I think it was just as much fault of the first baseman.

Tyler Graham had a key hit that inning to keep it alive and put the winning run in position to score... then made the game ending catch. He also had a hit, stolen base, and score earlier. Represented ole Montana very well.

I agree that 1st baseman was standing on the middle of the bag and could have easily made that catch had he been in the right position. Oh well, a great game and a HUGE win for OSU. Only their second team championship in sports ever!! I was torn on who I wanted to win being a huge UNC fan and living in Oregon and being friends with lots of OSU grads. In the end I just enjoyed the game and didn't care who won. Too bad MLB baseball has none of the excitement that College has.

Felt bad for NC too. Couldn't ask for more when both teams are looking for their 1st title! That is a win win situation for CWS! I like having the title come to the NW though. RTB... see you are in Bend. I lived there long ago and always wanted to go back... great area... really like Bend.

Only here for five more days and then I am back to Bozeman!! I can't wait to live back in Montana. Bend is cool, but it makes it hard to catch Bobcat games.

Go to the hill in the middle of town there... I wondered up there one Saturday and picked up the Bobcat radio broadcast if you can believe it. Was pretty excited to here Bobcat football in Bend, Oregon. It worked for 4 home games the following year. And there is still nothing like MONTANA! Welcome back!
