Our Lake outside of Choteau north of Rocky Mtn Peak. Glacier also has some charm.

As a kid I went camping with my aunt and uncle. We went to a lake in the North-west part of the state by cut bank ( don't remember what it was called). I grew up in the Bozeman/Livingston area and fished the yellowstone and gallatin a lot with my grandpa.

We now spend as much time camping in the Gallatin forrest and floating the madison. Before we had kids we went fishing on the gallatin and madison all the time. Go hiking up the lower bear trap. Fish on the big hole river and check out all the critters. We still do lots of that with the kids but more camping and 4 wheelers. Nothing is better than being over 8000 ft looking around at all the beauty.

Well timed thread! I have spent the last week between a cabin on Swan Lake and my parents house in Kalispell. I have made it to every corner of the valley this trip and can't imagine a better place to be. The Flathead valley is hard to beat in the summer.

Next week I am moving to Bozeman so this week and next will be pretty hard to beat!
