Word has it that if Lieberman loses his primary in Connecticut, then he will run in the general as an Independent. There is a very good chance that he will lose the primary and this scenario might play out.
How will the Connecticut GOP, party and voters, react to this scenario?

Last I heard Lieberman was ahead in the polls by 10%. Most poll numbers if Lieberman ran as an independent and this other guy ran as a Dem had Lieberman winning 44% to the Dems 29%
Only one poll recently had those two close, but its margin of error was much higher than any others. I think we'll see more of Joe in the Senate after this November. His 1st test will be the August 8th primaries.
