I have never forgot that story and every time I walked into the legion I always looked for that guy.

Re: Share your R Bar/Boodles/American Legion memories
Forgive me for bringing this one back but this is one of the best threads I've read on BN. I was looking for a different post but this came up.
I don't have the memories of most of you. Quarter beers were Thursday from 9-midnight. But it was the place I spent every Thursday until the remodel. But after the remodel the ladies got hotter. They dressed up. And you had to dress up a little. No hoodies or you stood out of place. But did we still go? F yes! I mean hot ladies....
But here we are 15 years later. The R is still a top bar in Bozeman. I'm guessing they do more sponsorship of MSU athletics than they did back in the day? The Legion isn't the late night sweaty dance party it used to be amd anytime i go in its mostly people bellied up to the bar. And Boodles has been so many bars, that who can remember them all.

Drank the trough under PBR tap for $5 in the Legion back in the late 90’s!
