By the fall semester of 2006, all but 2 of the guys who played or suited up for their senior year of eligiablity for Bobcat football since 2000 will have graduated.

The remaining 2" Travis Lulay and Adam Cordiero.

I consider that a sucessfull statistic.

Okay...really...I don't know anything about BOBCAT athletics. But what I DO know is that I've read the some of the comments that have been posted and some of them are irrelevant to what is REALLY going on. What you have is TWO bad seeds that no longer have any affiliation with Montana State University. I understand that they once did and I also understand that for those reasons that would lead to concern. All people can do is speculate on what happened that night. And as hard as it may be to admit...ONLY THE PEOPLE WHO WERE THERE/INVOLVED KNOW. The best thing any one person can do is step aside and let the police do their investigation and whatever they DON'T find out...believe me...there is one person who knows and HE will not let them get away with what they did. Newspapers are not the most honest form of media, though it's good that they keep us informed, we can't take EVERYTHING they write and run with it. They also publish things that may cause people to start to form opinions about things that aren't true/people that aren't involved. (Ex. Branden went back to an apartment that he shares with former MSU athlete Ja'Ron Jefferson.) What difference does it make that Ja'Ron SHARES that apartment with him? Does it mean he knew anything? Was he even there? I can tell you that they had VERY little contact with other I know at least a week prior to all that has taken place. Ja'Ron and I spent the whole week surrounded by the people (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!) who truely care about the well-being of the athletes who attend school at MSU. And on Friday we started our LONG journey back to Oklahoma after saying good-bye to those same people. Now that the air is clear about that...now to the question about how many of the athletes graduated...I saw two members of the basketball team walk across that stage with my OWN eyes. The other senior that I know of has a semester left...I believe. I can say for sure that JA'RON JEFFERSON graduated with a degree in sociology and he is now in Taipei, Taiwan with Athletes in Action. I'm not here to discredit ANY of your opinions because the great thing about living in America because everyone is entitled to free speech. I just couldn't sit back and not comment on some of the things that I feel like were maybe misunderstood or not understood at all. Bozeman, Montana is a great place with wonderful people and take it from someone who knows that it takes a lot more to deter people from such a wonderful school in an amazing town. I live in the CITY where crime seems like it NEVER ends, but it always amazes me that our TWO D-1 schools continue to grow at alarming rates!!!! Thanks for reading!!!! And I wish you all the best!!!!

Regarding the graduation rate, the Big Human mentioned it to my dad at a golf tournament this spring.

My dad mentioned it to me, and I thought it was a positive statistic regarding our football team's graduation rate.

I don't know how it fares for any other sports.

I think we're actually down 2 1/2 or 3 this year, but back to full next year barring further infractions.

Wow. Are people really getting this much pleasure out of spreading rumors about this case? MOVE ON!!! There are some of us who are going through a horrible time of grieving and trying to put our lives back together and the rumor-mongers are making it all worse. Let the police do their jobs, let the media report it, and other than that, stay out of it!! I realize that it's a big deal in a small town, but if you have nothing better to do than get worked up over who SUPPOSEDLY said or did what, then maybe you should evaluate what's going on in your own life. For heaven's sake, this is getting ridiculous. Let's please all go back to b*tching about Kramer or the basketball program or the Griz or something.

(And yes, I put this on both threads concerning this topic)

Unfortunately, no, a stupid smack board post holds that record, at over 44,000 views. I blame BearBAC.

I did not remember what those guys looked like, but they sure look bad in those photos. It's weird how you see a picture of someone before a crime and they look a certain way to you and then after a suspected crime the pictures tend to look more evil.

Just an observation not a judgement.

They (especially Branden) looked pretty damn scared to me! As they should if all evidence proves they did it. What a waste of three young lives!!! God I hate drugs. I just don't understand why someone would get involved with the stuff knowing all that can and will happen. Call me an ignorant hillbilly if you want, I will never understand!

I think it's safe to say that pretty much anybody looks pretty scared and rough when they have just been booked for any crime, not to mention a very serious crime.
