If his property is in the city limits, then I can see why he would have a tough time trying to subdivide, but if the land is outside the city, all he needs to do is comply with the State subdivision laws to get his deal done. If the land is in within the city, then he could probably get a variance That's the thing about the subdivion laws...you can't be prevented from subdividing if you comply with the rules.

As far as I know, there aren't any counties who have established zoning laws. Master land use plans, yes, but zoning, no. ESPECIALLY Flathead county.

just wanted to let anyone know who cares that the editorial in question came from clintonsband.com! we'll have more stuff like that in the future.

and by the way, when not doing band stuff, i live in MN and there is a ton of state pride here, but i can't help but miss the Big Sky. what i wouldn't do for some mountains these days.
