I think you don't get it. Sleeping in until 6 won't get many people very far in life, especially if they want to play on Sunday.

Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

Alf - Alf
Rain Man - Rain Man
George Costanza - Seinfeld
Wayne Arnold (Kevin's brother) - The Wonder Years
Wayne and Garth - Wayne's World

I'm not sure if anyone mentioned Austin Powers, but you could also add Dr. Evil and Fat Bastard from the Austin Powers movies.

This is an awesome thread!
My actual favorite characters have already been named by others (Doc Holliday from Tombstone, and Jack Bauer). To name a few others that I like and haven't seen anyone mention yet, though:
TV: J.R. Ewing (Dallas); Jack McCoy (Law & Order); David Palmer (24); Lionel Luthor (Smallville).
Movies: Darth Vader, Severus Snape (he's more interesting in the Harry Potter books than in the movies, though); Maverick from Top Gun; both Gene Hackman and Denzel Washington's characters from Crimson Tide.
I work as an attorney so that I can afford good scotch, which helps me to forget that I work as an attorney.
