Fortunately for this guy, his wife's situation is in no way similar to the legal situation that brought about the Schievo mess. I'm not sure what the point of the article was ... okay, I do. Nonsensical rhetoric -- if only we had gotten enough of that from the original case. But I'm not sure how anyone would read this article and not immediately see the obvious disconnect between this situation and the Schievo thing that would make the guy's comments logical head-scratchers. The reporter should have done his the service of explaining the case to him before he did the interview ... although it would have killed his story (which I'm sure is being distributed via email across the country to the rhetoric hungry conservative voting base as we speak).

Unfortunately for the rhetoric hungry conservatives the man mentions 'stem cell' research hence killing this story in Idaho.
