Any psych majors out there with animal assisted therapy experience? Recently became involved with Delta Society training our English Mastiff to work with children who have had sexual trauma.
would like to email with others who have done this sort of thing.

Sorry if it offends you that I volunteer with children that have had sexual trauma due to incest or pedofiles. The whole thing disgusts me. I am just looking to communicate with others that enjoy helping kids and may be have psych backgrounds as I was a HHD major.
Since you obviously don't please keep nasty comments to yourself.

It was not a nasty comment. The majority of the posts are from the same 40 people, and none of them seem to be in that line of work. That was my point, not to be a smart ass. We don’t take ourselves very serious on this website…

Thank you for the apology. We have intelligent alumni out there that may be able to answer some questions, so I posted in hopes there was one. Iwould like to try using my English Mastiff in non-hospital situations. I'd like to expand the work I do with AAT and children under ten with PTSD or sexual trauma.
Don't use my MSU eduacation to earn $, but still see MSU alumni as a great resource.
