rib racks...
i know this is really, REALLY random but i need some help. i wanna grill some ribs for the big game this weekend but because we're expecting more people i want to be able to do about four racks at a time. anyone know where i can find a rib rack here in town? there are many online but i'd rather just get one here.
do you have to know everything to post here? or just think you do?

Re: rib racks...
What're you doing? Like baby back ribs? I've got Weber rib racks that are available at Owenhouse, Home Depot, True Value, etc. If it's like baby back ribs you can also just roll them with a little overlap at the ends and hook the ends together with wood skewers, you can stand quite a few racks side by side on the grill that way.
FTG!!

thanks so much. my favorite part about this place is it doesn't matter how random the question, at least one person will have the answer. appreciate it. ya i'm doing baby back ribs but want to be able to do about 4 or 5 racks at once. thanks again.GOKATS wrote:What're you doing? Not a prob. The key is slow cooking regardless of whether you're using a dry rub or sauce- 225-250 is ideal, takes time but well worth it. When they're 'meat falling off the bones' stage, they're done.whitetrashgriz wrote:thanks so much. my favorite part about this place is it doesn't matter how random the question, at least one person will have the answer. appreciate it. ya i'm doing baby back ribs but want to be able to do about 4 or 5 racks at once. thanks again.GOKATS wrote:What're you doing? PS.. If the meat shop hasn't already done so be sure to remove the membrane from the inside side of the ribs, it's real easy, just get it loose on an end with a knife, grip it with a paper towel and pull it off the length of the ribs- won't take more than a minute or so per rack.
