I was reading this on Rick Reily's blog on ESPN and thought it would be fun to hear any other intramural team names:

My fantasy football team is known as "The Amish Rakefighters" and my fantasy basketball team this year is "Stepdad - because I beat you and you hate me"

I love fantasy sports, but I limit my participation to golf and football. I think coming up with a name is about 75% of the fun.

My brother in laws softball team was called "off in the woods" so when they lost people will say "hey we just beat off in the woods."

It was mine. If you watch Dodgeball you will see one of the team names is mooseknuckle.

The funniest team name I have seen was actually at a bowling tournament. The youngest guy on the team was probably pushing late 50's and their name was I (as in roman numeral 1) Jack Off and their shirts had a deck of cards fanned out and the jack of hearts was missing. Their second entry was I (again, roman numeral 1) Jack Off Too and their shirt was missing the jack of spades. It was the Denver city tournament so they announce all the teams and you walk out on the lane. It was in a 44 lane house and the whole damn place was laughing. Poor lady that was announcing the teams.

My roommate in college had an intramural football team called "al-Qaeda" - and September 11, 2001 came around. Not such a great intramural team name on September 12th…

Intramural team name was "Hat Phoes" in college. League rules didn't permit "vulgar team names"...so we adjusted slightly
