Today my 2nd grader was asking about the Yellowstone Supervolcano so we looked it up because I couldn't remember when it last erupted. I ran into this page, I don't think it's professionally done but interesting to look at. Is there any talk about the activity around there?

We will provide many ideas for those of you who wish to be active in co-creating a future for those who will come after us, and links to sites where those with expertise in those fields can show us what is going on currently, and the changes that are being made

Not sure how accurate the 2nd link is...it doesn't look to be run by scientists.

catatac wrote:Yep. The activity was abnormally high last month but it looks like it's tapered off. I think the frequency of Yellowstone erupting is about 600,000 years, and it's been 620,000 years since the last one. We we're due, in geologic terms.

Hopefully it holds out for a few thousand more years because it's gonna be ugly when it happens.
