Terrible.
I'm mostly going just for Foreigner. Still a win concert, IMO. Even though I'm only 23. 8)

There's a good concert for a 13 year old to see...

Great concert! I was so amused with Styx. I didn't think they'd be that good but wow, they were amazing. And Foreigner topped it off to make for an epic evening. :)

I was at that concert too. I was impressed by the wide variety of age groups there. Of course I told my boss I was going and he told me that he went and saw Styx when he was my age (i'm 24, he's double that). Just goes to show that good music is trans-generational.

Great show. Kansas was pretty good. Was probably the 4-5th time I've seen Styx, always like them--great as always. Foreigner kicked azz.

We almost came. I would've liked to have seen them. My mother-in-law offered to buy tickets for our children 13,10,8. But, in the end we didn't go as I was uncertain to whether or not it would be appropriate for them. The concern wasn't so much over the lyrics of the music; they listen to this genre with me on a daily basis. But, moreso due to the potential activities/language/behavior that might have been present at the concert. I was totally going off of my concert experiences from when I was in my late teens early 20's.
For those who went, would it have been OK for them to be there? Or, was I justified in my decision to keep them away?

Probably a good decision...

Its always a good idea to be over protective and shelter kids, that way when they get out into the real world they dont know how to handle various situations then seek counseling, get a prescription for some anti depressant.

Big Pharma loves that.

Ewww... I hope the concert was close to being over by then. Imagine standing in a puddle of pee while Kansas sings "Carry on my wayward son, there'll be piss when I am done".

That sucks that some people got a little rowdy.
But from what i saw it was mostly a family friendly event. there were quite a few kids and tweens there; and, aside from some really bad dancing by people my parents' age, the crowd was mostly well behaved.

If I had kids I wouldn't have minded if they were there. The stage-show was pretty family friendly and the music alone would have been worth it.

Yeah I was waiting for Mr. Robot, too. But the Renegade set made up for it. :)
