Favorite "News" bit??

Chester is struggling from Heat Wave v2010. It has been very hot and humid here in the Great Lakes State and Chester has been sweating like a stray heifer in a ring full of bulls.
The constant TV news coverage always yields the obligatory "safety tips" and therefore Chester's favorite News Bit: A reporter, usually the new chick, gets a microphone and a thermometer and heads outside into the studio parking lot to demonstrate just how dangerous the heat can be. She will place the thermometer in either a car with the windows rolled up or directly on the asphalt surface to illustrate the seriousness of the conditions. This bit is usually followed up with an interview shot earlier in the day at a local ER with Dr. Facetime on TV pontificating: "make sure to stay well hydrated and try to stay in a well air conditioned areas. if you show any signs of heat-related illness, its best to get checked out". Then they go back live to the reporterette who is now holding the thermometer that reads 20 degrees higher than the air temp because of the asphalt and she declares Chesters favorite tag-line: "... it only took 3 minutes for the conditions to become very dangerous, take precautions....and don't forget to check on the elderly"
a close 2nd is just before the 4th of july... the same reporterette will be at a fire station where the firefighters demonstrate the dangers of fireworks by exploding a watermelon... "now imagine what that will do to your hand!"
