Can anyone explain, with a fair amount of detail and documentation, the Patriot Act - what it does, and it's ramifications. I am seriously on the fence as to where I stand on this - and as background, I am a free-market guy and Bush supporter.

However, I would like documentation and facts...not hyperbole.
