Old Navy and the Gap Closing...

Post by Gus » Thu Jan 06, 2011 5:01 pm

Heard as rumor this afternoon about Old Navy and possibly the Gap closing. Hate to see those jobs go.

Glad ON close. That always had to be on our stop list in Bozeman.

Of course I'm sad jobs are lost, I'm just glad so now I don't have to sit around for an hour while my wife shopped. :D

They are just getting rid of the Wheat Montana franchise and becoming a local restaurant. I was in there right before New Years and they said Friday the 31st was their last day as Wheat Montana. Then they were going to close for about a month to do some remodeling, etc. and get ready to reopen under a new name. I can't remember the name now, but it was something to do with Lewis and Clark. Sounds like they were going to expand the menu a little to have more breakfast and lunch items.

That's it! Considering Jeff Riggs(a former Bobcat) owns the Wheat Montana in Great Falls and Billings I would assume those two aren't far behind from making the switch as well. Probably just a matter of when those franchise agreements expire.
