Nonresident students

Post by SonomaCat » Sun Jun 19, 2005 2:11 pm

I didn't realize that MSU had more nonresident students than UM all of these years. I wonder how many of those students were drawn there by skiing and fishing? That seemed to be the big draw for the out-of-state kids in my dorm days.

sick, but when i went to MSU 93-97, it was still cheaper than my high school tuition. i went simply because i liked montana better than CA and had family in the area. Besides MT still has better academics than CA.

When I came to MSU in 1998 there were 7 people from my graduating class from Minnetonka High School (MN). There was a heavy recruitment of MN during the late 90’s, I don’t know if MSU still recruits students from MN like they use to. While I was at MSU there always seemed to be a lot of MN students.
