Diff between ipod touch 3rd generation and 4th?

She's a nursing student and is looking for wi-fi for her laptop when she's not near any free wi-fi.

I have the Droid X, which has hotspot. She is either looking at a new phone or ipod to get wi-fi.

What would you recommend!?!?

Are you referring to ipod touch or iphone? Ipod touch does not have it's own data connection, it can just use wifi to connect so it isn't going to provide any type of hotspot connection for another device.

hell i don't know what she wants!

i love my droid x, told her to just get a new phone.

she's in LPN school now and a lot (most) of the RN students have some sort of wi-fi capability. she said a few have the wireless connection deal from verizon.

whatever she gets she can write off so i told her to get something cool.
