You worked on the Sears building rehab? What a cool project. (Hi, I'm an old building nerd). That developer is doing the Hirbour Tower too. The Greek Cafe and another building in Uptown Butte are getting redone too. You might be in Butte a lot in the next few years!AlphaGriz1 wrote:YEah that sucks.
I worked on a project in Butte this summer where they took the old Sears building and made it into 34 apartments with a grocery store on the 1st floor. The Fire guys were beat to death with regulations, fire caulking, fire block, etc and I though to myself why the fu*k would anyone want to deal with all these stupid over the top regulations and codes............maybe these two guys were thinking about starting up a fire protection company on their way out?

What a pity for these two guys. So unfortunate. Smoke detectors save lives, but not in the hallway.
