Iran's capital offences include murder, rape, armed robbery, apostasy(??), blasphemy, serious drug trafficking, repeated sodomy, adultery or prostitution, treason and espionage.

Well, at least they aren't persecuting Muslims by not allowing them to display Islamic religious displays on government property, so they are doing something right.

Personally i would love to see rapists convicted of multiple counts of rape, child molesters, and serious drug trafficers *read...cocaine, meth...and ect* be put on death row.

i know...sniff...about the only thing i agree that nation is doing right and...sniff...we want to give rapists and child molesters and their ilk the easy road...sniff...i wonder, when i move, how they are going to react to my christanity. i doubt id live to see 30

Yeah, they haven't quite come around on that whole liberal concept of acceptance of various religions beyond those endorsed by the government quite yet.
