Is this what our society has come to? Some people can't eat responsibly so the candy companies succumb to the pressure and decide to quit making killer candy bars? Oh the humanity!

This ticks me off. I like to buy Snickers and Milky Ways for hunting. It used to be when a "Fun Sized" bar meant fun, a perfect hunting snack. Now they are the size of a Hershey kiss.

it's funny that MARS is making this decision based on the calorie count of each bar. What's going to stop a person from opening the newly revamped 2-piece candy bar and scarfing both pieces? Does this mean they'll also be discontinuing bags of "fun sized" bars because they exceed the calorie limitations? MARS is taking the first step, who's next to follow? The possibilities are endless!

Reese's Pieces will now officially be known as Reese's Piece
Chunky Bars will be renamed "Slightly Chubby" Bars
Hershey's Kisses could become Hershey's Kiss of Death

I think doing away with the fun size is dumb. If I want a candy I go through the boys halloween candy and have a fun size something. Perfect size for a little treat without too many calories!

Kind of funny, last night's biggest Loser was about Self Control. This won't help people control or learn how to control their intake. I like the idea, I'm a big proponent of healthy eating. But people need to be taught how to eat, how to have treats, and how to make good decisions. I don't even think it's as much self control. I really would say I have little because when I decide to have pizza or something like that, I will almost always overdo it. But I only allow that some times because I've learned what impact it has.
