Amazing

Post by 19CAT » Thu Mar 29, 2012 5:15 pm

Isn't it amazing what technology does. From what I have learned it is really good a spreading bad news. Not near as swift at spreading good news, or helping someone. With the news out of Missoula today both egriz and Bobcatnation were overloaded. My phone has been charged 3 times between all the text, and twitter messages, and there isn't a sports writer in the state that has had a second today to scratch their A$$. However if an amber alert goes out people MIGHT froward it to a few people, usually the ones that are your best friends and are in the same community and know the same people. It really is sad to think that news, the really juicy stuff, has to be bad anymore. If there was this much individual effort put into the presidential election we would have a chance of getting someone in office that could do the job the way it was intended.

I do realize that I am as bad as anyone for promoting and forwarding things like what happened today. I am just saying isn't it sad that our culture is geared this way??
