Just saw that the Crystal is for sale. Hope somebody can put up the money and keep it the same way it has been forever and not turn it into another upscale place like the rest of Main St has gone.

Who wants to start pooling up some money and buy it???

I hope you find someone. I'd be more inclined to look at Sappington, Cardwell, Harrison, Norris (Oh, yeah!), Cleveland...

The story was he bought the Crystal and was going to sell Boodles (which is supposedly finished) and Boodles' liquor license.

The Crystal is/was for sale. The owner of what was Boodles, was looking at buying it, but it didn't happen. The new Boodles is being auctioned off the the bank.

So judging by the facebook reply, the minimum bid they are expecting must be in the $1.2M range.

Depending on how much the Crystal cash flows and how much value one would put on the building, that seems like it could be a decent investment for somebody with the means. It's one of those bars that's big enough that the owner probably never actually has to tend bar themselves, which would be the crappiest part of owning a bar (well, at least top 5).

No offense intended but is a realtor whose major properties shown on his facebook page include two trailer houses really to be considered a reliable?

One other thing I am pretty sure that the goal posts from the 2002 game went to Specs and the R. I have not seen the goal posts in the Crystal, althought I will admit that I was not looking for them and if they were cut up it may have not been as obvious as at the R and Specs.

The uprights went to those bars but the crossbar and the main post went in the Crystal.

As a realtor your job is to sell property for people and make a living. He has all of his listings on his facebook page, big or small
