Impressive animals to say the least Gary but aside from pulling your 4x4 out of a snow bank or mud bog what can those bad boys do besides eat a fortune worth of food? Will they point out a pheasant or sharp tail? I don't think one would fit in the duck blind with me and would they retrieve?

No offense to 3 lb hairless chihuauas but those look like the least practical dogs ever

They are incredible guard dogs. Which is important in Tibet. IN the US they, like 95% of all dogs, are basically pets. However I never have to lock my doors! Dogs don't have to have a function just like children!

Tue enough but they are both more fun to have around when you can enjoy more activities together than feeding and cleaning up after them.

I bring them to Bozeman/Big Sky every fall for a week or two. They love the hikes. The Lava Lake trail is their favorite. They saved my ass once. I was walking with my head down and when I came around a corner I was starring into the eyes of mama moose with her calf right behind her. She started to charge when the boys came behind her and distracted her long enough for me to hide! Had to buy new underwear after that encounter!
