I-AA football poll.....joke?

I was on my to Billings Friday night, listening to the West/Senior game. Prior to the game, the announcers were talking about the I-AA poll. As many of you probably know, West and Senior were undefeated and 1-2 in the polls, respectively. The announcers (if I heard this right), said that West had all but three first place votes....Butte, getting the remaining three.

Someone please tell me they were mistaken or I heard it wrong. I saw West put a hurtin' on Butte only a red headed step child could relate to a couple weeks earlier. Before, and since, the Bears have done the same in their other games. I realize that polls are just window dressing and are mostly meaningless, but what's the point of being on the polling board (or whatever it is) if you can't give an honest vote. What's the point of having these polls if their bogus (another word for biased in this case). If Senior had garnered the other votes, I could understand. Does anyone know if this was the case? Also, who's on the list of people that vote?

The September 14th poll (from Billings Gazette) shows West getting 17 and Butte getitng 1 first place vote. If the West high AD can't vote for his own team could explain the other vote, otherwise someone is hitting the pipe too hard.
