I have a heck of a time tying to get around the new Bozeman Chronicle website. I have a satellite internet connection. It seems to work fine for most other sites. Does anyone else have trouble with the Chronicle's fancy new format???

The best way I've found to access 'E-Chronicle' is hit click FAQ'S on the home page and then 'E- Chronicle'. Beginning Nov. 1 it will be available by subscription only.

It is a very crappy site design IMO. Way too much info to try and load at once. When I first ran into it, I was like WTF. Definatley not user-friendly, either.

I love the e-chronicle....it is works great on my internet connection. To hear that it will only be available by subscription only makes me mad. First Hink and now this? I guess it will be back to the GF Tribune for me.

I have had no problems with the new upgraded format, either, and I think it is about the coolest newspaper-related thing I have seen in a long time (and seems to be ahead of the curve of even the major newspapers). It is very easy to use (you just click on the article to read it) and includes every bit of type that the print copy has. Unless it is a connection issue, I am scratching my head as to what somebody could find wrong with it.

I'm guess that the subscription will only apply to the full e-chroncile, but they will still have the smaller selection of articles (without pictures, etc.) available online? That seems perfectly reasonable. They really can't just give away their paper every day. I'll probably subscribe when it goes live, as long as it is reasonable. It's an upgrade worthy of paying for.

BAC: You are correct. The new stuff eventually will be subscription, but you'll still get the old style for free.
