Re: AA Montana High School Playoffs
I like those picks, although I wouldn't be suprised to see an upset in one of the botteom three games (no way Big Sky beats West).longhorn_22 wrote:My first round predictions:

Could be, if anyone is going to challenge West it will be Kalispell or Capital.rtb wrote:I haven't followed AA football much since I left Montana, but being from Kalispell I have to call BS on your pick.longhorn_22 wrote:Second Round and Predictions:

Baker did indeed beat Eureka. There's a reason those boys are several time State Champs. Eureka came out strong, scored first and controlled the first quarter. Baker adapted and Eureka never had a chance after that. Final score was 38-14

I'm not going to predict that FLATHEAD will beat Capital but I do think the game is a toss-up.
It will come down to turnovers, IMO, the team with the least wins.
I'm rooting for Senior to upset West because if that happened and the Braves prevailed, the title game would be at Legends Field, home of the FLATHEAD Braves.

sorry, but no one is touching west this year. they are one of the best teams take the field in montana in a long time. i think they not only win all the games they play, but win the remaining 2 by more than 2 touchdowns each. imo.longhorn_22 wrote:Could be, if anyone is going to challenge West it will be Kalipsell or Capital.rtb wrote:I haven't followed AA football much since I left Montana, but being from Kalispell I have to call BS on your pick.longhorn_22 wrote:Second Round and Predictions:

That's the EXACT attitude Brave & Bruin fans want to hear...
It's EXACTLY the attitude Capital had 3 years ago, having won 23 straight games (usually with blowouts) and sitting at #1, hosting #8 Flathead...
I'm not predicting that West won't win the title, I too think they should coast to 2 more wins; I'm just saying that if any/many West coaches and/or players start thinking that way, LOOK OUT!

I'm not a coach or player so it doesn't matter. West can handle it and they will win state.El_Gato wrote:That's the EXACT attitude Brave & Bruin fans want to hear...

Add to that West hasn't played Capital and I don't think they played Kalispell either. Offensively, Capital is unlike any team West has faced. If West gets a lead, look out, it's over.longhorn_22 wrote:I'm not a coach or player so it doesn't matter.
