This guy had no business as mayor or on the city commision in my opinion. Everything he has he got from Daddy. When he was mayor his business was one of the last the get up to city code. Can't say much about how he did as mayor because I don't think he did anything.

I'm not sure how much the mayor of Bozeman is designed to do. The mayor is the top vote getter in the city commission races. So, basically, they run the meetings. I'm sure there's some more to it. But, it's not as much as I would have thought with the title of mayor and everything. But, that's how Bozeman's city government is set up.
Regarding the arrest, I hope it's not true for the sake of his family. If it is, he needs to take responsibility and seek treatment.

Ditto. While we're at it, we should kick every single person on the commission out of the state of Montana. What an incompetent group of elitist morons.

The Bozeman City Commission has been questionable at most points in my mind. But having the mayor beat his wife? Yikes. There's no reason in the world to do that kind of thing, no matter how drunk a person may be. We really need to elect a mayor here in Bozeman with some power. This is a big black eye for Bozeman.

"Beat his wife"! I doubt it. 90% of the time in these cases the women starts hitting the man he pushes her away and she falls and calls the cops because she is so pissed!

Yeah, I understand your point. Nobody should push anybody and we'll all be fine.

Is that a real statistic, or is that just something that you thought was about right? (just wondering)

You ask as if there's a difference. After all, 87% of all statistics are made up on the spot.
