If it were a maroon one, I'd say that your wife is trying to tell you she has "Griz-wife envy." ;)

unintentially my wife and i purchased a very maroon colored vehicle this summer. it even has a tiny silver pinstripe across it! one of the first things i said to my friends after buying it was that it sucks that it's griz colors. but how 'bout this little story. on cat-griz saturday i was heading over to the store for some tailgating goods at about 7 in the morning. bozeman was already buzzing. and i swera to god this is no joke, i got flipped off twice and yelled at once about how the griz sucked! so just a quick newsflash for some of you, although i will never let it happen to myself again, some people buy cars and houses with no regard of what 1-aa football team they root for! pretty funny though.

I was hunting last weekend and saw a pickup with a personalized plate that said Cat Griz. He was pulled over to the side so I rolled up alongside and told him I liked his license plate. He laughed and said " it's a mixed marriage, I'm a Bobcat and my wife is a Griz".

WalkOn79 wife's plates say GCRAITZ. WalkOn79 is a Bobcat and his wife is a Griz. I don't think they talk much during the football season.

Walkon and I are related. God I love flipping his wife some XXXX during the season; she doesn't take it very well. :)

Thankfully I think we saved his son just in time this year from leaning to the dark side.

Well, we got the "red" one. Since it's my wife's vehicle, she got to pick the color. I told her that the plates have to say "NOTAGRIZ"; although I like gtapp's suggestion as well. :)

A funny story about buying a house. There is a bar in Billings that is frequented (and I think managed) by Malta graduates. A buddy of mine bought the house immediately behind it and promptly painted it "Glasgow Scottie" red with white trim. I guess the Mustang people are just pissed because they think he did it on purpose in order to get under their skin.
