Posted for MSU that don't have their current email address in the alumni association's computers. If you have access to campus (i.e., don't live far away), this sounds like a very worthwhile set of meetings of attend:
Dear [Alumnus],
Montana State University is about to embark on an 18-month effort to develop a campus plan that will guide the development and design of future buildings, infrastructure and landscape decisions. As an MSU alumnus, you have a stake in the development of this plan, and I invite you to share your thoughts and opinions with our planning team.
"MSU Tomorrow-A Campus Plan for the Future" begins with a series of stakeholder public forums next week, January 25 and 26, in the SUB Ballrooms. The session for alumni, parents and friends of MSU is scheduled for Thursday from 6pm-8pm in SUB Ballroom A. You are also welcome to attend any of the other sessions (see schedule on the Web site below).
You may come and go at any time during the sessions. Parking is available at the Foundation/Alumni Center free of charge (let the alumni office know you are parking there) or in the pay lot across Grant Ave from the SUB (fee applies). If you cannot attend any of the sessions, watch the Web site below for the opportunity to give your input via the Web, beginning in February.
For more information on current planning events and updates, goals, schedule and process, please visit our Web site at http://www.mstatealumni.onlinecommunity ... 662EB3CB1A. The site also includes the history of planning at MSU, photos of what stakeholders view as good and bad about the MSU campus, user surveys, and progress reports that will be updated throughout this planning process. We hope you take the opportunity to help plan our future together.
Sincerely,
Geoff Gamble

I got the same e-mail recently. It's not just alumni who are getting it. These meetings could lead to something. Right now, even though a new football stadium would be nice, MSU needs classroom space. I have three classes that are in rooms that don't really fit the size of the class and they are cramped. Certain departments also need more professors. Most of these departments are in the liberal arts spectrum of the university, like Arts and Political Science. I just thought I'd voice my opinion here.
GO CATS!
It's always a good day to be a Bobcat fan!

My name is Steve, if you'd like to know.
