I get the day off for two simple reasons:
1. Working for the University
2. I've turned the big 24 today and I'm recovering from a three day bender so no sense in making me go to work!

I'm working, but a bunch of folks must have the day off. Probably one of the quietest days I've seen on BN.

I've told just about everyone this, even called all my friends.
I've worked the whole day, I'm still at the office in fact, but a coworker of mine told me to run to Macy's and check out the slacks there, the prices were great.
They were, $65.50 pair of black pants, $19.99. But the cool thing (for me at least) was that I bought a near $500 suit for about $160. I wasn't planning on buying a suit at all, but the prices were rock bottom. Black suit with faint grey pinstripes. I think I'll even wear it tomorrow.
Sorry, I obviously still haven't shut up about it.

Can't beat a good deal!
My hubby's been home for a 4 day weekend, so my "work" has been interupted. We've done stupid things like throw out junk from our remodel, clean out the spare room. I did get a trip to Walmart in today (yes, that's big excitement.)

hey my excitement today was attempting to take the kids to Curious george. Once I got past the sticker shock of actually going out to the movies with the two bottomless pits, i decided we'll keep with the DVD tradition.

That's a great deal that you got.
And I just have to add....
Given your views in other posts, are we safe to assume that these items of clothing are American made, and not "out-sourced" labor to some other country?

The thing to think about President's Day is this: the US used to celebrate Lincoln's birthday and Washington's birthday. One was Feb. 12 and the other was Feb. 22. President's Day used to be 2 holidays!
GO CATS!
It's always a good day to be a Bobcat fan!
