Torrey Pines Pub in Las Vegas has been sold.

What is noticeably absent in the article is any mention of the gris or the Treasure State. The new owner says nothing is going to change – it’s still going to be an Eagles bar. The eEdition of the paper has an additional photograph that is not in the article link above: one of a wall covered in Montana license plates, but no mention of why they are there.
As much as I dislike the gris, I love Torrey Pines Pub and its previous owner, Bob Bonner. When we Bobcats didn’t have our own regular place in Vegas, he was 100% accommodating to us. His graciousness extended to the bar becoming an unofficial hangout for the Bison. I hope this little bit of Montana in Vegas, even if it is covered in dark pink swag, does not lose its charm.
