I don't think Hillary is literally a communist or anything (and she certainly isn't a proponent of the former Soviet Union), but she has a lot more desires for the U.S. to be a nanny state than I would like, as evidenced by the article.

But if the common good she is talking about is balancing the budget to keep our economy going in the right direction, as opposed to merely raising taxes as a means of redistributing wealth, she may have a good point. But I agree that her choice of words is creepy.

Well, balancing the budget by raising taxes isn't exactly a direct deposit. Many factors are involved, most of them bad at this point in time.
