Just saw Click yesterday, and wow! This was a good movie. I had been very dissapointed with recent Sandler comedies (Big Daddy being the last great one, and The Longest Yard being the best of the recent, though not great), but this movie was more than just a slapstick Sandler routine. Yes it had a lot of his old gags (which were actually funny again, for once), but the story line was powerful and a lot of the people in the theater were crying or at least teary-eyed towards the end. It had a rare combination of knee-slapping humor and moving drama. Sandler was wonderful, as was the supporting cast (Henry Winkler, Kate Beckinsale, Christopher Walken, and even David Hasselholf played the perfect role for himself). It made you leave the theater wanting to appreciate everything in life more.

If you want to read more reviews that pretty much say what I just said, only probably much more in-depth, visit the IMDB site.
9/10 from me.

WOW! Thanks for the review. I have been seeing that preview thinking the movie would not be good at all. I may actually go see it now.

The first two acts are full of usual Sandler comedy (but like I said I actually laughed for once, but I still have a bit of an immature sense of humor

), and the final act is full of drama.
Basically, if you went in to see a pure Sandler farce comedy, you will be pleasantly surprised at the depth to this movie. Maybe that is why I liked it so much - I didn't have real high expectations.

Sounds like I made a big mistake. I was in Canada last week and went to the theater and chose Nacho Libre over Click. Nacho Libre was horrible. Jack Black is funny, as usual, but even he couldn't carry the film.

I am man enough to admit that I was a little teary eyed. Great movie! I laughed, I cried.

Just got back. Good movie. I wasn't going to see it but after Celtic's review, I went and I really liked it overall.

I was gettting really sick of Sandlers comedies, and I have loved his last few movies. Spanglish, 50 First Dates, Anger Management. They've had a little more to them. I'm glad to hear this one does too, can't wait to see it now!
