Bad Taste

Post by MaZooLaGriz » Fri Dec 08, 2006 1:09 pm

Finally, two Cat fans posted "good luck" messages on the Griz board today. Your board will full of Griz best wishes when you were still in it, plus many threads on the Griz board.

That, plus only cheers heard when the Wa-Griz PA would announce that the Cats were ahead, versus the boos we heard about in your staduim, confirms the improvement your program needs.

Shame.

I haven't been on egriz more than twice since the playoffs started - too concerned about my own team, and when we lost it took the wind out of my sails, and I haven't been on egriz since. That doesn't mean I don't wish the Griz good luck, I'm just too bummed to go over there and publicly announce it. :P

My sentiments exactly ... too drained after a great year by the Bobcats! What a season .. HIGHS/LOWS/HIGHS.

If you need confirmation of your program, you are looking in the wrong place. During the streak, I heard nothing but smack, slams, and gargage from teddy fans. There was never any encouragement or anything positive coming out of your pieholes then. That right there put enough of a bad taste in my mouth. All of sudden when it appears we have turned the program around, beat the Griz a few times, and finally made it back to the playoffs, now you want to be cordial. You're not getting good luck wishes here.

I guess that counteracts the griz fans coming over here after we have been eliminated and telling us why no one would want to be a Cat if they could be a griz, or why our program sucks... oh, like you.

I for one, am not looking for confirmation of anything. I just want to THANK each and every Bobcat fan who has sent well wishes to the Griz this week and today. Your genuine well wishes are truly appreciated.

Just can't believe that some "fans" both Griz and Cat just can't get past the smack and crap on a day that should make any Montana football team proud. Hell, we all Griz and Cats with a few Saints, et al thrown in. I am just so damn excited and proud to be a Montanan today and if it were the Cats playing and not the Griz I would be equally excited and proud.... TWO OF THE BEST DAM FOOTBALL TEAMS IN THE NATION AT ANY LEVEL... ok, maybe I got carried away a bit but the Cats and the Griz have represented the BSC exceedingly well this year and we ALL need to be Loud & Proud...

just my two cents...

thanks Cats for the support...

GrizzlyEdd...

Best of luck to the Griz, their staff, and the ggf's.

I've got no problem with the Griz winning for those folks.

BUT, there's a part of me that hopes the Griz lose for the fine folks like Zoola, Scats, bearbac, swilly, etc.

Sorry, Zoola, but it's griz fans like you who prevent more Cat fans from rooting for you. I'm pretty sure what our program DOESN'T need (or want) is advice from an arrogant griz fan.

Oh bull. There was NO booing when your score was announced, you are getting 1. the business from someone who wants to get you going and/or 2. propoganda from some grizzly fans who weren't even there.

Its arrogant fans like you that make us dislike a few of you (as if theres no fans like griz fans :bs: ). Don't come on our board, put us down, and assume we don't support the team tonight just because we aren't posting on egriz for gosh sake.

Here's to the griz (for the next 2 weeks and then I'll go back to hating the griz :D ) - be loud, and show the rest of the country what playoff football is all about!

Zoola,

To follow up, do you think your post makes MORE Cats want to root for the Griz, or less?

I'd just like to see you guys develop a program that's a credit to Montana, instead of just talk, talk, talk.

I've overstayed my visit. Punching out to get ready for a little football game.

Thanks for stopping by and spreading a little Xmas cheer, zoola.

Let's see, conference Champs 3 of the last 5 years, playoff quaterfinals this year, played a tough game on the road @ #1... I'm pretty sure the Furman & Appy coaches will tell you we're a credit to Montana, but hey, your opinion is SOOOOOOO much more important. You're right, our football program is a disgrace to the good folks of Montana.

Notice once again how he proves (on the way out) he's NOT a ggf?!

That's because most Cats fans don't go to that sh!tstorm known as eGriz.
On that note, good luck, win the whole thing. I may be watching, I may be drunk, or I may be both. But maybe not.

And to head off the whining ... yes it is obvious that the first post in this thread was intended as smack and not intended to create intelligent conversation on a topic related to Bobcat Athletics ... thus the whole thread was moved.
