Notra Dame takes it in the shorts again!

Notra Dame just fired Willingham, the thought was that ND canned Willingham because Urban Meyer was about to go to Florida. Meyer a former ND assistant coach, was thought to be the shoe in if the ND job became available. Meyer even had it in his contract that he could break the contract if his ND became available. Well it is rumored that ND offered the job, but he has just accepted the head job at Florida, leaving ND with a whole bag of nothing, and egg on there face!

I heard/read a lot to that affect myself. If that happens, I would find it hilarious. Serves them right.

I think I said that I am not a ND fan, so nothing makes me feel better than than to see the arrogant taken down a knotch. That's why I enjoyed November 2003 and 2002 soooooooooooooo much.

The huge upside to this whole turn of events is that I can now go back to cheering against Notre Dame without feeling conflicted. I really like Willingham, but really dislike ND, so it felt really cancelled out emotionally during their games the last couple years.
